My name is Kayt Bochenski and I am a freelance Children's Book Designer and Illustrator. I live in Buckinghamshire with my husband, 
two children and two floppy-eared bunny rabbits.

 

I have 20 years experience as a designer at some of the industry's best publishers including Macmillan, HarperCollins and Nosy Crow. I went freelance in 2013 after starting our family and have worked for a variety of children's publishers including Scholastic, Campbell and Bloomsbury. I now split my time between freelance design work and illustration, working from my little studio in the garden.

I love creating cute, vibrant characters for children's books and greetings cards. I have had a number of my own books published and most recently illustrated 'Cedric the Little Sloth with a Big Dream' for

Little Brother Books.

I am passionate about my design work and illustration and often the
two go hand in hand. I aim to bring creativity, enthusiasm and a touch
of sparkle to every project I work on.
